Runners of all levels are welcome to take part in the Wythall & Hollywood Fun Run on Sunday 22 June 2025, starting at 10:00am at Wythall Park.  

Whether you’re chasing a new personal best or simply looking for a feel-good way to stay active, this flat and welcoming course is accessible to all.  

Participants will receive a bespoke medal, designed especially for the event – the perfect keepsake to mark your achievement. 

This year’s medals were revealed at an event in Wythall Park for the official race sponsors and community partners including David Lloyd Solihull Cranmore and Bromsgrove, Acorns Children’s Hospice, Sight Concern, Wythall Community Association and Optima UK. 

Sophie Boreham, Events Manager at Acorns Children’s Hospice, said: “It was brilliant to see the medals, they are a fabulous memento for those taking part in the run! We’re thrilled to be the Charity Partner for this year’s event, which will see a welcome spotlight on our life-changing care for seriously ill children and their families across our region. We will be there sporting orange on the day cheering on all our runners – and if you haven’t signed up to run for Acorns yet there is still time!” 

Lisa McNally, Director of Public Health in ȫ��̽��, said: “Running is great for me personally, and I have found it really benefits both my physical and mental health. I’m also an avid collector of running medals, they give me something to keep reminding me of the sense of achievement I feel after finishing a run. It’s a great motivator on rainy days when I don’t feel like getting my running shoes on! I’m looking forward to adding another wooden Wythall and Hollywood medal to my collection.”
